Navy NCP FY2015 Applicants

Hello all! I have been avidly following previous topics about the NCP program and I wanted to start one for those of us who have recently submitted a kit for the NCP program for FY2015. I'm in the Chicago area and my kit is currently being combed over by a processor then will be shipped out for the boards- which aren't convening until Novemeber (according to my recruiter), since they wanted to have more applicants. Hopefully this will be an area to calm nerves and answer questions. Good luck to all who apply, or are thinking of applying!

On a different note- anyone know if you're 3.0 gpa you need at the end of nursing school is supposed to be cumulative of you're whole schooling career, or only from your BSN program? Or if the 'one chance to take and pass the NCLEX' is strictly enforced?

Heard from my recruiter today.. I have officially been selected and will swear in on May 1st! Hope everyone else heard good news too!

Were you a prior selectee from last April or from the boards in Nov? Also, where are you in the US?...I ask just wondering why your recruiter heard something but it seems like no one else did today

I went through the November boards and I'm in Nebraska..my recruiter is in the Omaha area.

I havent heard anything on my end as of yet, but if I don't hear anything by Friday I will email my recruiter Monday and see what he has to say

Just giving an update. I spoke to my recruiter, and was told that it's unknown when final select letters will be issued. If I hear anything else, I'll let everyone know. Wish I had better news! Maybe the good news will come next?

Oh wow, I thought maybe you were graduating this May, which would make sense as to why you got a date already, but I'm glad you got the good news. I graduate this december, so i thought i'd be one of the first to sign.. I'm going to contact my recruiter and see what he says

That is strange that you haven't been given a sign-on date, especially because you're graduating this year. I wonder why we're experiencing the delay? Hopefully we'll be joining you soon, felkem01!

My recruiter said they did the same thing last year- that the people that were chosen at the October boards didn't sign until May. She also said the official numbers had not been released yet so there wasn't a set date when those chosen in Nov would sign. Why can't they get themselves together and give everyone the same info!?
