Hi Everyone :)

Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.

Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?

Congratulations adb14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Are you currently still doing your prerequisites (I'm asking because I am still doing prerequisites, and I don't know if I'll automatically be put on the active alternate list or not).

I was done with everything except college algebra which im taking right now and art in the summer. What are you taking now?

I'm taking A&P II and Microbiology now (I have high A's in both), and I'll finish after finals in 2 weeks. If I get into the program I'll be taking nothing but nursing courses because I'll have all the rest done.

Thanks Red and Tim! :) What were yalls points?

We have the same score (what a "coinkydink"!) of like 103 (Red can correct me if I'm wrong...I don't remember exactly).

I had A's in all of my science classes which added 5 points for each. Thank goodness! Keep your head up and dont be discouraged. Anything can still happen!!! :)

Congrats abd!!!!!!! What time did you receive your e-mail?? Wondering if I should stop looking for the day..lol!

That's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just graduated from high school last year so I am content with either acceptance or active alternate (although acceptance would just be like...WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!) :D

Red and I are gonna be waiting for about the same time...lol we've been in the same boat since the end of January! :p

Yes :) Tim, you are right :) we both have 103.... Which I hope is "good enough" to get accepted!!! I seriously checked my email 500 times today- to no avail. :/ hoping and praying tomorrow will be "our day" (finally)

And Tim, you're already completed all the "core curriculum" like nutrition, psychology, lifespan development etc?? I'm finishing up mine this summer... You are ahead of me ;)

I am in the same boat with you guys! I think I scored a 102 if calculated correctly. I have completed my core classes as of December so I am really hoping this is my time but, we will know soon enough I hope:) Like tomorrow would be nice!!!

Congrats to all the applicants! I look forward to meeting you in the Fall! :) If you haven't received an email yet, don't despair. They are notoriously slow with paperwork. I asked ***** 2 weeks ago if the new applicants had received their letters yet and she said they had just gone out to the Bridge students and they were "working on" the others. I think it's great that you get an email acceptance-that's new from last year when we had to wait on snail mail to get the letter. Good luck everyone!

@ Red: I've only 2 core classes that aren't finished (Nutrition and Lifespan Development) but I'll finish them in may as well as Micro and A&P II. :) I'm not really all that far ahead, you've got experience. :D

@ Shalynn: ****** did say a couple of days, so tomorrow should be the day! :) :) So excited!!!!!!! Hope is sufficient till then. :)
