Navarro ADN-RN program Fall 2012

Hi Everyone :)

Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.

Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?

Email I just received..... Because of the large amount of phone calls asking about offers of admission I am emailing all of you to let you know you will be receiving either an offer of admission OR an active alternate email in the next couple of days.* You should pay attention to the attachments and those of you who are admitted make sure you take care of the paperwork that has dated deadlines.* Active alternates do not despair as we always have some offers rejected or courses incomplete after summer.* Do not discard the attachments. Feel free to come to Orientation May 7 'just in case'.* Keep checking your emails until after the first day of class (June 5th) as we have offered admission to alternates this late.* In this case we will send special requests to the companies who have dated paperwork.* Just remind us at the time that we need to do that for you.* If you have not received one of these emails or an "unable to place you" email, let me know so I can find your file and see what happened.* AND OF COURSE ADMISSION DEPENDS ON YOU HAVING EVERYTHING COMPLETED AND ON TIME.

Yep I got one of those emails as well. :) Sooooo worst case scenario is alternate? :yelclap:

Now we have a definite answer: THIS WEEK WE WILL KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo, it ended up that I did know someone that had applied. She got notice that she didn't get accepted. I'm super sad for her. It breaks my heart that everyone can't get in. On another note, I'm still gna be checking my email NONSTOP until we get confirmation!

Yes, adb- it is sad although, I do like having restricted class sizes. Could you imagine having 400+ students in a class? Hoping WE ALL get accepted!!! So very anxious....

That's true! 400+ would be craaazy! Lol. Does anyone else know ppl that got the same email as us or denial emails? I can't wait to hear for ALL of us to get in and be able to "officially" meet. :)
