NAU Nursing Fall 2016

Published

I thought I would start this blog for the NAU spring 2016 nursing program application cycle!

I take the Kaplan exam on March 11th and the application is due during spring break. (March 15th)

Just want to know who else is out there apply this cycle :)

Just let me know if you would be interested at all and we can talk about it more. :) and I hope we get them before the full 2 weeks. I think about it everyday, it runs my life. Just think of how exciting and proud we will feel if we DO get accepted, though! I dream about it :x3:

I really want to get into Flagstaff. It's so hard to know what they look for in a candidate. All the threads on here have people with such varying scores. Some get in, some don't. I guess it depends on everyone else who is applying also.

I have heard of people emailing or calling the main dept in Flagstaff to find out when letters are going out.

I don't want to bother them. They probably get a million phone calls about this time of year.

So did anyone hear from their advisor?

I have heard other people talking about how we will find out next week.

That's true.

My advisor is impossible to get ahold of or talk to..

I hope we find out next week!! *fingers crossed*

If I don't make it this round I will be very Disapointed. I probably won't apply again- I can't do anything else really to better my chances besides taking the Kaplan again. Which I dislike that test.

Why not try for a community college? I applied for both NAU and AWC..I got into AWC and it's a great back up for if I don't get into NAU..

GCU is my current back up. My community college has a bad reputation. I've heard stories about people paying and getting into the program and then classes become full and they don't get their money back....

How many people have told you we will find out next week? Maybe the email will go out next week and the letters are sent out after?!

Really!? That's terrible and isn't that illegal?

I'm hope you get into NAU. What requirements are needed for GCU?

That would be awesome to get the email next week!!!

For GCU you need to take 24 credits at there school and you need to take the Hesi

Of course you need good GPA and pretty much the same prerequisites
