NAU Nursing Fall 2016

I thought I would start this blog for the NAU spring 2016 nursing program application cycle!

I take the Kaplan exam on March 11th and the application is due during spring break. (March 15th)

Just want to know who else is out there apply this cycle :)

Yeah! I like him because he is actually helpful, as he should be.

We've had 2 advisors and the new one is never in the office..so I don't hear back for weeks..

I applied to flagstaff as my first preference, Yuma as my second choice. I really will pick flagstaff, if I make the alternate list.

Better the second time: 84.

I was really worried about it, since im 19 and fresh out of high school. I got my Associates Degree in high school and did my prerequisites also. So I'm pretty young compared to everyone else.

I am am somewhat confident since my prerequisite GPA is a 3.7 and I have no classes in progress. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

The first time I applied I got a 75.

Wow that's good to know! I did not want to be left out.

I don't like how they keep us waiting. At this rate I'll be homeless- all the housing up there is already leased :nailbiting:

I'm really hoping I get in this time, but I have a back up school if this doesn't work out. My advisor said that if I had above a 3.6 GPA and 82 on Kaplan I would be in best possible place to get in.

I am from Mesa, but I'm finishing up my 2nd year at NAU right now in Flagstaff. I have a lease I'm trying to give to someone else at The Suites on campus so if things don't work out for you and you would be interested, you can have the lease :)

Maybe we will get into Yuma together! You are the only person I know that has applied to Yuma campus lol

Your gpa and everything is really good! I think that's the only thing I have going for me is my gpa haha I went into the Kaplan completely blind!
