NAU Nursing Fall 2016

Published

I thought I would start this blog for the NAU spring 2016 nursing program application cycle!

I take the Kaplan exam on March 11th and the application is due during spring break. (March 15th)

Just want to know who else is out there apply this cycle :)

I am here :) Anxiously waiting silently. I feel like I have a decent chance outside of my science score on the kaplan. Although my overall was an 82, my science was a 60 :( I hope that my GPA and credits at NAU help me out. I have not applied anywhere else, this is my dream. Who else here is a Tucson applicant?

Good luck to you :)

An 82 is really good. My advisor told me they look at gpa and science, then math and composition-for similar scores. She didn't say anything else though :/

I know, I wish we had more people in this conversation. I love hearing from people who are in the same boat. :geek:

With over 2000 views you'd think more people would chime in lol

Right? Who wouldn't want to get in on this!?

Haha, right?! I know other people are dying over the wait too, might as well make friends while we wait :dead:

Exactly! At least the wait is ALMOST over :3

I'm really hoping for sometime next week, that would be so perfect!

So you are taking classes at NAU right now? Are you pre-reqs or just something to keep you busy?

Specializes in OB.

Good luck! I am graduating from the tucson program in May.

I finished my prereqs last semester and didn't get accepted so, this semester, I'm taking classes that will complete a minor in biology. Hopefully this is the last semester I have to take regular NAU campus courses!

Congratulations! Did you enjoy the program?

This is the 2nd time you applied? Did they say why you didn't get in last time?

I was a public health major and this semester I realized that this isn't the route I want to take. I know public health is extremely important for health professionals, I just am finding no interest in it at all. The only classes I really enjoyed taking from this major is pathology and human disease :sour:
