I thought I would start this blog for the NAU spring 2016 nursing program application cycle!
I take the Kaplan exam on March 11th and the application is due during spring break. (March 15th)
Just want to know who else is out there apply this cycle :)
I didn't even know there was a cut-off. I had gotten onto the main website and looked at all the campuses and Yuma doesn't have much of anything except they take 20 applicants (10 accepted, 10 alternates). Other than that there wasn't a min. score or a specific GPA that needs to met. It is terrible cause we really have no idea as what is expected.
I hope so too! I had originally started as nursing major here at our community college and ended up changing my major like 3 times; I should have just stuck to the plan haha
Well at least I got higher than 65 lol
Yeah i bounced between nursing and becoming a Medical Lab Technologist...then I realized how much chemistry was required and slowly backed away from that.
Once my husband got into nursing school and was sharing how awesome it was, I decided that is what I wanted to do...and so here we are waiting :)

Yes. I knew I wouldn't get in last semester because I was just starting BIO 202 and that's pretty much the only thing the science section on the Kaplan covers. Because I hadn't completed the course yet, I got a 55 on the science section, and that was below the qualification cutoff. And good for you! I hope, if we get accepted, you enjoy the nursing program more than public health. :)
