the anticipation is killing me!! after working hard for 2 years i finally completed my application to national university for their Accelerated BSN program. i took the teas 5 just over a week ago and am expecting my acceptance/rejection letter during the first week of june. even though it is just 3 weeks away, it seems like a lifetime! if i am accepted i will be joining the october 2011 cohort. anyone else going to nu during this time?
These are already prereq's, are they going to start including those classes towards points? ------'s email is different. She has always replied back to me within the same day. In the first email they sent out the said the breakdown would be available within 2 weeks, so she may not be able to tell you much now. I will try to sent you a PM with her email, dont know if I am allowed to put it here.
Yea it looks like it. They werent there when I applied for cohort 28. I just emailed Margie as well.
Has anyone received their actual acceptance in the mail yet? I'm wondering if I'm going to receive anything since my application said "alternate," any thoughts?
Every cohort seems to be a little different. Some get their acceptance throught the mail and their orientation info throught email, and some its the opposite ( at least that is what I read when trolling through previous posts). I think this is the first time they have used the student portal to inform students of their acceptance or denial. You may not get a packet unless a spot opens up for you.
86% on TEAS, 3.6 GPA, passed all classes the first time. Denied. I am driving to the school in an hour to get to the bottom of this. Like you Bioman, I can't seem to find the meaning of my denial.
When I tried applying for the program online several months ago I had a problem with records saying that I never took the pre-nursing forum, which I did. My counselor had to waive the forum so that I could apply, and now records show that I never went to the orientation for pre-nursing. Perhaps this is why I was denied.
Maybe I misunderstood, but I was under the impression that it was a done deal. Everyone I've talked to from my classes and the TEAS test date scored lower than I did. You guys here seem to have good test scores, but some people outside of this forum got in and they scored in the low 70s and had a 3.0 not 3.5.... This is so frustrating.
