  1. I've heard that online is easier than classroom, however I took it in the classroom and got an A. If you do take it in the classroom, read notes BEFORE class and it will be a breeze! If you ever need help or tutoring for that class, let me know.
  2. I've heard endless stories from my mentor about early morning calls from the ER when her assistance was needed to retrieve any number of things from a man's colon. I've heard the of the hotwheels, keys, various squash, candles; you name it! She said it almost became a game to see who could come closest to guessing the next "lost item" they found!
  3. I contacted Ms. M----- and she was able to tell me how I did. Pretty much just gives you the essay score. But I am still waiting for the official grade break down
  4. English section killed me too. I got 86% on TEAS, if it weren't for the grammar I probably could have had a higher score. GPA of 3.6 and was told I got 4/5 on essay portion. Seems to me that the TEAS test score really is the determining factor.
  5. Berra, you had it the toughest! No time to study and a LONG waiting game! lol All worth it in the end when you get the acceptance letter =)
  6. Hey Marissa! Welcome =) We have a FB group page, you should join us if you haven't yet! Kadeboy: I waited about 3 weeks before I got my TEAS test email with the date, My test was scheduled 3 weeks after the email was sent, so start studying ASAP, the more time you have, the better. Everyone has a different waiting period because there are multiple sessions for the TEAS test, if you take the test just a few weeks after applying, you will have to wait longer to hear the good (hopefully) news!
  7. Hey Kadeboy! A friend of mine is art and thread of keep this one going to meet up with your group members :) study the Teas manual that is written by the writers, it does wonders! With your Gpa and studying, you should have no problem getting in :) Best of luck!
  8. I will join the fb page book now =)
  9. Cool, thanks for the info luv I can't wait to start!
  10. Congrats luvxallxthextime! I can't wait to get the packet in the mail so I can start planning =) Does anyone know if the school supplies scrubs?
  11. Congrats "Happy"! My email was just a notice saying that there was some kind of error and that the previous status was erased. It said to re-check my student portal for the new status! I think that the email only went out to those who were mistakenly declined...
  12. I just got the email and checked the Student Portal! I GOT IN!!! THANK GOD! I knew there was something wrong lol. I look forward to seeing all of you at orientation and have never been more grateful for computer error!
  13. yes, first time applying. I am meeting with ------ on Wednesday, hopefully we can work something out. My biggest concern is that I have to reapply by the 10th, and the earliest pre-nursing forum date (because now I have to take it again) is in July.
  14. Bioman, I just got back from the meeting at NU in Rancho Bernardo. I spoke to an admissions advisor, nursing advisor and even the head of the nursing department. No one knows anything yet. They all tell me that ------ is the one who handles these issues and that we need to contact her. However, she is out of the office until Wednesday. I left work and drove an hour and a half for nothing. My only hope is to meet with ------on Wednesday. If I was denied for academic reasons, that's one thing. However the head of nursing told me that the pre-nursing forum is only valid for one year. I attended the forum one year and 6 days before applying. Forget frustrated, now i'm pi**ed.
  15. I origionally WAS denied for the application process, I had to talk to my counselor for several days to get it waived, they had to find the physical paper where I wrote my name on the check-in sheet. The question is, did they enter the attendance in, or did they just patch up the problem with a waiver.
