Nassau Community College Nursing program Fall 2020

Hello everyone,

I did not see a thread for upcoming Fall 2020. Who has applied for this window that closes March 13th? What are your stats? I want to know like yesterday if I got in. This wait is the worst. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.

Please do not cry! I don't think admissions would honestly have the right answers about your application. It is hard to have to sit back and wait to hear about your application but you are not alone on that one! Your stats are AMAZING! We still have a few days before April ends which means you still have a chance to get an acceptance email!

I feel like we are all going to have mini meltdowns until these emails roll out. Just remember we have all worked very hard to get here. We still have a long hard road ahead of us. We can & will become nurses one day. I have faith in each of you.?

I agree! To be honest you guys are the only thing keeping me sane at this point. I have been driving my boyfriend crazy about not receiving anything yet. I am sorry that we have to be stuck home during this time because it doesn't make the wait any easier but WE GOT THIS!

This keeps me from checking my email every minute to find nothing. Great way to vent our frustrations so we can start the program with a great attitude. This wait though is rough.

It is. I just don't understand how they can say "decisions have already been made" and yet no one has gotten an email. Like what are they waiting for?

LOL! I still check my email way more than I should! I've been trying to play a bit of video of games to relax!

I did not receive an acceptance email, I only got the letter in the mail. From reading all of your posts this seems to be so confusing and I feel like everyone is receiving a different answer about everything. Also side note, you all are making me want to come to Nassau now with all of your positivity and motivating messages to each other... LOL. I wish YOU all nothing but the best!! Those of you who are not accepted. Do not give up... I've applied 3 times to both Nassau and Suffolk and I finally got in. Don't let this bring you down. You will get in and you will be a nurse!

Thank you so much!! Proud of all of you for making it this far. I was getting really frustrated with my denials, especially since I'm a full time Paramedic and I literally do this every day.... Nursing schools don't look at that though. Very frustrating. Just take it with a grain of salt (easier said then done) but just push through the disappointment. Your time will come! I purchased the practice TEAS on the ati website and that is what got me my TEAS stats.

Also I just clicked on my unofficial transcript for Nassau and it says that my major is Nursing Day... Maybe it'll say that for you all if you have the option to click that?

Yeah mine says that too but I never got a letter ??‍♀️ Also that’s cool your a medic! I was an EMT before my son came along and decided to go back to school. But NCC doesn’t know that haha I was wait listed at SBU and honestly this NCC Debacle is more stressful than that was haha
