Hello everyone,
I did not see a thread for upcoming Fall 2020. Who has applied for this window that closes March 13th? What are your stats? I want to know like yesterday if I got in. This wait is the worst. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.
@youngcheerio That’s awesome news! You must feel so relieved! With your stats, I’m sure you’ll be getting good news in no time. That’s really weird about your friend. I guess my theory doesn’t work out. Looks like we just have to wait at this point. This is going to be a loooong week. LOL

”Your application was correctly received by the Nursing office and not Office of Admissions. As mentioned below, we are completing the process and decisions will be sent by end of April.”
too bad I already emailed the chairperson of the department as well in my panic. I hope they didn’t get annoyed and throw my application to the side ????
And that’s crazy because a girl in my class said she got a physical letter, and she’s definitely an existing student at NCC. Super shady. Honestly I’ve been taking several naps to make the hours go by and the past couple of days I’ve been leaving my phone at home and going to Cammans Pond County Park to stare at ducks so I won’t go crazy because all the trails are closed
Ahhhh! Happy news! I’m sure they are used to the panic emails at this point. Everyone is beyond anxious and wants to know if they got in.
@youngcheerio so happy to hear that your still in the running. Maybe I could be still? But why would admissions tell me I didn't get in if emails aren't going out till end of this month? I'm hoping they check to see that I have an associates and a bachelor's as well. I really hope good news for all of us in this group. This forum has been me sane.
@Seanyboy91 yes I think you and I both still have a shot. And the way they worded the email to me, they also made it seem like I didn’t get in. They said my application was not in the system and that decisions have been made. I honestly think admissions and the nursing department just have no idea what’s going on with each other.
@Jalambelet1213 CONGRATS! And thanks for posting the letter so we know it actually exists ?? In other words, the nursing department and admissions are working separately and have no idea what the other is doing!
@Jalambelet1213 it's good to know the letter actually exists?. CONGRATS!
@youngcheerio your stats are a lot better than mine especially if all my subject scores on the TEAS didn't add up to the minimum. But, I really hope they consider other factors as well.
Everyone on this forum has been nothing but nice and positive. Can't wait to he nurses with you all!
@Pre-nurse T yes that’s exactly what they told me. I wish I would have realized how clueless they are prior to getting paranoid and sending out several panic emails. Did you apply online or in the office?
@youngcheerio I applied at nursing department before school closed. Admission's really does not know whats going on
Hey guys I know I’m a little late to the party but I have so much anxiety over this whole thing LOL. This is my second time applying to NCC. When I applied last semester my TEAS score wasn’t great and I was missing Micro and Statistics. Last month when the school closed I was having issues with them receiving my most recent TEAS score (I took it at NCC) and ended up having to email my score to admissions. Now seeing that there has been so much miscommunication between admissions and the nursing department I’m low key starting to freak out that they don’t have my most recent score on file. Ugh. I just want to know at this point if I’m in or not so I can start to figure out what I’m going to do next semester.
Here are my stats—
ENG101- B
ENG102- B
Psych101- B
Lifespan- B+
Statistics- A
A&P1- B
A&P2- B+
Micro- A
Bioethics- In progress
TEAS- Overall 78% (Advanced)
I am not a Nassau resident and I would be a new student. Considering some new students have received physical letters already I’m starting to lose hope but just trying to stay positive since this has been so hectic.
Good luck to you all, I hope we find out asap!
