Hello everyone,

I did not see a thread for upcoming Fall 2020. Who has applied for this window that closes March 13th? What are your stats? I want to know like yesterday if I got in. This wait is the worst. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey! I applied and want to keep track of acceptance letters. Similar scores to the post above, could have tried harder on studying for the TEAS but came out with an 80.9%.

I just heard back from Molloy college. Did anyone from Nassau apply anywhere else. SBU is my first choice and I had my interview in Feb and am now waiting!

When does Nassau start rolling out acceptances?

TEAS test just took today at a different test site since coronavirus shut down all the schools.
I'm trying to figure out how many points I have but I have NO idea how the point system works at NCC. Does anyone know?

drgh each grade of A= 12 points.

B=9 points

The TEAS points are as follows:

58.7-79=5 points

80-89=10 points

90-100=15 points

10 points for living in Nassau & 5 points if you have never been in a nursing program

Thank you! For the TEAS points, is that per subject or for the overall TEAS score?

drgh the TEAS points are based on the cumulative; however, the minimum points of 58.7 are per section. I’m sure with your grades your TEAS scores will be high.

If anyone hears if they got accepted please let us now. The original timeline was we would hear by the 3rd week of April. Not sure how the week & 1/2 extension impacted that. Good luck to us all as we anxiously await any news.

As of today - the Nursing dept confirmed that we will receive decisions via email by the end of April.

@Pre-nurse T

No, they reached out to me regarding my official transcript. So when I responded they let me know when decisions would be made. ?

I keep checking my email too!

Good luck x

Applied as well. Grades on TEAS were not as good as of all of you. Mostly B's, a few A's, and a C+, and C. The anticipation is killing me as well. Hopefully we all get in. Did anyone apply for the night program?
