Nassau Community College Nursing program Fall 2020

Hello everyone,

I did not see a thread for upcoming Fall 2020. Who has applied for this window that closes March 13th? What are your stats? I want to know like yesterday if I got in. This wait is the worst. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.

After reviewing last years forum emails went out around April 23. This year the application window was extended 1 1/2 weeks so we might not hear until the end of next week. My educated guess. The suspense is absolutely killing me. How are you all feeling? ?

I saw in another thread that people got letters in the mail? I'm so confused.

@Moogie614The nursing program communicates by email & mail. Last year emails went out first then letters in the mail.

I just keep checking my email like crazy. I think we will hear back sometime this week since some people have already received acceptance letters.

.....at least I hope so LOL

I keep checking my email & the mailbox. I Need to know so I can plan life. My life revolves around getting in.

@Moogie614 Welcome to the group.

@Pre-nurse T I'm in the same boat. I really need to know if I got in or not. I'm so nervous, is the email going to let us know as well if we got in or not? Or just the official letter? Do you know anyone else who isn't in this group that already got the acceptance letter?

@alessax I really hope we all get in that are in this group.

@Seanyboy91 The last time I applied was 2 yrs ago, I only received a denial letter in the mail. I had no pre-reqs done. I personally have not heard from my friends that applied yet. I’m hopeful it is good news. I will keep checking everything until I receive something.

I will update either way the minute I find out.

So I just heard today someone got an acceptance letter... I’m thinking we will find out this week if we got in. I haven’t heard anything or gotten an email yet. I’m so nervous!

I’m so nervous too! I have a panic attack every time my email notifications go off but it’s always some random NCC email LOL.

Someone in the other thread recommended we look at the registration status on our NCC logins. Mine suddenly changed to Nursing Day - AS Matriculated Admit. I also got an email a few days ago about Financial Aid and it said "see you in the fall!" I haven't gotten a letter yet but I also live in Virginia right now (military moving up to LI soon) so I'm not sure how delayed things are. I also believe the two students in the other thread were night division, maybe there's a delay on day division letters? Just speculating and trying not to panic! haha
