Nassau Community College Nursing program Fall 2020

Hello everyone,

I did not see a thread for upcoming Fall 2020. Who has applied for this window that closes March 13th? What are your stats? I want to know like yesterday if I got in. This wait is the worst. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.

I feel so heartbroken. I emailed admissions last night about my application and it turns out my application is not in the system. I literally want to cry. I feel like I’ve been waiting for no reason. My application was emailed in because of the coronavirus.

I am so so sorry, that's so unfair. I emailed mine in too - I guess I should email and see if they say the same.

I emailed admissions to see if they have any information to offer.

I sent a "checking in" email to both nursing and admissions. I really doubt I'll receive any feedback outside of the automated message about May 1st. The fact that some people got letters and no email seems strange. We'll see what they say!

Your nursing application or your admissions application to the school itself? You should be emailing the nursing department about your nursing application. Which email did you use to send your application?

@Jalambelet1213 it is very suspicious. We can not get a generic answer to questions. So why would anyone get acceptance letters. The nursing department probably is not even working on them until school resumes. We will find out.

@JGVargas I’m already a student here at NCC, it was my nursing application. I emailed them a few days ago and I recieved an automated message as well as a generic message saying decisions will be emailed out by the end of April. I’ve been using my student email for everything. I raised concern to the nursing department about my application but they didn’t address my concerns, they just told me that a decision will be sent out by the end of April. I just got a message from admissions that my nursing application “never populated” and to apply in Spring because decisions have already been made. I find this so unfair because I followed the correct procedure and was completely overlooked.

I emailed the nursing department about some change of program question I had and all they said was they are finalizing application and decisions will be sent by the end of April.

I just emailed the nursing department did not get the bounce back email so they are working. I’ll see who responds first Admissions or Nursing. Keep you guys posted.
