Nassau Community College Nursing Fall 2018.

Any one applying for Nursing at NCC for Fall 2018?

But I heard they do some sort of online classes with other schools now!

The way I calculated my points was I looked at my unofficial transcript and added up the quality points received for the classes toward the program.

@Scoobyfn8 ... If you are a current Nassau student, you should be able to run a degree evaluation to see what electives you might need. If not, according to the degree evaluation, you would need a History elective (Attribute: American History OR Western Civilizations OR Other World Civilizations), and a Art or Foreign Language elective. For other general education requirements you need Mathematics, English Composition, Natural Science (BIO, CHEM etc.), Social Science (SOC, PSY etc.), History, Humanities, Art, and Foreign Language.

So I did that, it originally had my Binghamton classes on there (before I transferred to Nassau because I decided I wanted to pursue a different path with life) and now my Binghamton grades are no longer there. I emailed them because I'm a paranoid person like that so I don't know where I am really, the way it used to be for a degree evaluation it was a little bit more clear for nursing section on what I needed left

Are you considered a liberal arts major at the moment? If so, your degree evaluation will only give you the classes and electives required for that degree, specifically. Make an appointment with an advisor or call/email admissions to find out if any of the classes you've completed apply to the nursing degree.

It's liberal arts right now however, binghamton used to use Degreeworks so all I had to do was a what if and say nursing and have classes I'm registered for apply it still didn't show. I guess I'll have to set up a time with an advisor because I emailed them yesterday around 12ish and I have no response still. I just don't want to have to waste money/time for course I already too however I do want to stand out amongst the mix

Yes I am familiar with degee works. I graduated from Old Westbury last December and they used the same system for degree evaluations; surprised Nassau doesn't have since they are all suny schools......But yes definitely sit with an advisor. You cannot get a more sure answer than them.

If you go to degree evaluation, NCC is now using degree worlds. It's under the launchpad

I know and I was saying my binghamton classes are not my transcript/account at all even with the change @gabbyforge and yeah they just changed but again was shocked they didn't have degreeworks @fee19934

I know we still have a little ways to go but does anyone know how we find out if we were accepted? Is it through email or mail? I applied through the nursing department

Does anyone know what the minimum pts are that will guarantee that you will get accepted? I know i will not get accepted this semester since i only average out to 90 points but after classes i'm taking this summer i will average out to 120 pts w/o science tea scores
