Has anyone looked into buying their stethoscope yet? If so which ones are you all looking at?

I use a littmann stethoscope I had for 6 years it works pretty good.. that brand is a little pricey but it's worth it since you'll be using it long term.

Yes, after some research I found that Amazon is the better choice compared to college bookstore and other places.Pricewise there is a big diff. Also the Littmann Sths is reasonably priced at Amz.

There is also a paperback version of fundamentals that is about half the price, this is the one I purchased

I haven't heard from anyone about it starting in October rather than September. When you look at the classes you are registered for it says classes start September 1st, but obviously with that being a Friday we wouldn't have classes. I assumed they would begin September 4th, but I've been informed that is Labor Day so now I'm not sure if they would begin the Monday or the Tuesday. Suppose we could call the office and ask, but I was going to wait it out a bit and see if it will be posted on the calendar anywhere. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I definitely was not told October at all (I am also Fall evening.)

Thanks, maybe I just messed the dates with our clinical at the hospital that starts in October. It definitely should be 5th of September.
