Has anyone Interviewed for NSCC ADN program? please share

anxious to hear something soon

The bookstore will have our books for the fall next month. Confirmed by the nursing department and the bookstore manager 

I spoke with the nursing department today. They said they spoke with the book store and we will have our books in time :yeah:

Spoke to Bryan Rogers, who identified himself as the bookstore manager stated that the nursing department has begun to submit the booklist, and that books WILL be in stock by the start of school.

Very exciting information! The person I spoke with in the bookstore seemed pretty confident that they were getting the book list. One less thing to worry about!

On another note, has anyone gotten their vaccinations yet? I think I'm going to Lentz health center next week. Is it true that most of their vaccinations are free for nursing students?

Just called Lentz... I have already had my M.M.R. and Varicella titers done earlier this year at MTSU, so I didn't ask about those. I was told that Hep B will cost 35 dollars and Tuberculin skin test is 10 dollars. I thought that at the meeting they said these would be free for nursing students? Has anyone had these done yet?

I went to my primary care giver and he completed my

Tdap and physical. I have already had my

Other vaccines and TB. It's probably cheaper to do it at your doctor

I went to my primary care provider as well. I already had the MMR and Varicella vaccination, so I only needed the three Hep B and Tb skin test. Maybe you can try your local health department it may be cheaper there.

Has anyone's student loans shown up on mynscc?

I check everyday. I really don't want to invest alot in titers, background checks, nurse bags, books, etc, etc....the endless list of things we are expected to do before we are even registered for class. I really don't want to spend any money until my financial aid posts. It would just be a waste if the student loans don't come through. Also, I feel I can't give my notice at work until my registration and financial aid are a sure thing.

Has anyone ordered their skills bag or background check??? I need help :(

I was told by the financial aid office that student loans should start showing up by the end of this week. I also check everyday because I will probably need quite a bit if I am only able to work 1 or 2 days a week... Hopefully we'll see something soon.

My cousins loan information posted and I'm still waiting for mine. I was told that I wont receive my funds before the end of September even though it will be posted. I ordered the background check this morning, and I hope to order my skills bag soon.
