You guys, my phone finally, FINALLY rang!!!!!!!!:balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons:

It was the school, and I FINALLY got my INTERVIEW phone call!!!

Its next week Tuesday

I am so excited. I wish there was a screaming smilely face because all I want to do is scream at the top of my lungs, jump up and down, cry, and scream some more. Its almost over, I waited for sooooo long.

Thank you guys soooo very much for your well wishes and support, I can't name all the names but I have to thank

GottaGetIn, DesertRain, JBRN2B, caeiluna, Jilaweez, Jewels, starbabyfive, Blessed061987, paragon( who's been my private message application buddy from the start) (jeez I swear I'm giving an Oscar speach or something) I know I know I know I am missing soooooooooooooo many other people but you guys have been so supportive about me getting this interview and getting in, and you guys really kept my spirits up when I swore up and down I wasn't going to get a call.

Thank you guys sooo very much, my interview is next tuesday and I promise I'll let you know how it went. I am soooo excited I can't stand myself.

Nurse2bTracy, I haven't given up hope for you yet, I think if anyone deserves to get in you do. Keep calling them, trust me it helps by my umptheifth call they knew my name and my application. Hang in there girl.

I have been waiting all day to get on here to see how it went. YEA!!! I KNEW that you would ace it! Congratulations!! :monkeydance: :balloons: :monkeydance: Now you can (even unofficially!!) say that you are a part of the group!!! I am so proud of you and your encouragement to everyone else, even while you were waiting for your call. You are going to make an excellant nurse, and with the attitude that you have shown here, you will go very far in your career. :nurse:

Okay, now, just because you have had a great interview and are basically though not technically (whatever!!!) in, you better not ignore us on here. We will be needing your encouragement to get us through the nursing classes and clinicals!!! LOL! Take care and let us know when you are officially official!!

Thanks blessed...ohmigosh I would never ever forget you guys, not even when its super busy with school and work since I have to do both. (boy its going to be a painful 2 years) Anyway, I hope you guys don't forget about me lol, it was great going through the whole process with everyone and not feeling alone or like a fish out of water. We should definately start some kind of thread that we can keep in touch with each other.

Girl, you are going to be an *excellent* nurse. I'll have to make a trip to NYC just to give you a hug!! I couldn't be happier. I hope you read my PM. I have been on a slight hiatus and just checked back into the forum today. I read your thread and was grinning from ear to ear. I'm am AS EXCITED as when I got MY acceptance letter.

Myst - I am unbelievably happy for you!!! Now we can move over to the General Nursing Forum!!! HAHAHAH! We've graduated!!!!! :) :) :lol2: :lol2:

Hey Mysiqx,

One other thing, when you get back you should call the financial aid office (they do answer their phones more than the admissions office ;) ) and ask about deadlines. I know that the deadline to submit apps for some of the aid and scholarships is June 1st (I will be making it back to the city from vacation just in time). Since you won't have your package yet hopefully they can make an exception for you...

I went for my interview this morning. I think it went very well. The assistant dean did say that the financial aid package would have a deadline of June 1st but since we were interviewing late we should disregard that date and have the package in by the end of June.

Spain is absolutely fabulous, i´m just checking in to email my mom to let her know im ok, but wanted to stop by and say hi and congrats to Tracy.

Molly, same as what tracy said the dean told us to disregard the date since their committee meets late in june.

How is the weather there? And the sights, and the food...LOL! Why you are checkin in here instead of sight seeing is beyond me!!! I would not look at the computer while I was in someplace like Barcelona!! Oh well, that is why you are you. Gotta check in and congratulate your people who are cheering for you and getting their own good news!!! You are too sweet! Have fun!!!

lol, well tonight is my last night, i had an awesome time, and if i didn´t get into nursing school i wuld be MOVING here. These people sure know how to live! They are the most laid back, fun people I have ever met in my life. 4 nights was definately not long enough, as soon as I get everything together with nursing school and finding out vacations and what not I am definately coming back. I stayed in a hostel and its the best thing I did. Anyway guys, this little note isn´t particularly nursey but i just wanted to check in. I´m leaving tomorrow and will back to waiting impatiently for "THE LETTER!"
