In one to two months I will be taking my exam, this thread is an online log to track my progress.I figure if I do it on my own, it will be most likely to FAIL. So Im here, taking all the risks. I know its hard to do it on my own, so I need some encouragements from everyone here (if possible).
So far, I gathered all the resources I need:
Books: LaCharity, Saunders, Kaplan and (to purchase) NCSBN online review.
Place; I mostly can focus on a not-too-noisy places, Library is one of my fave.
Lastly, to everyone who will be taking taking there exam this coming May or June,
I wish you all luck!
In the end, our strong faith to ourselves and the Divine will make us all reach success!
Cheers!

I have been reading this thread for a while and would like to join in! I graduated in May and am waiting to hear back from the CA BRN for my ATT. In the meantime I was very fortunate and lucky to receive a job offer at the hospital I volunteered at for one year and then have worked as a nurse's aide at for the past 6 months. The hospital has a pharmacology test, EKG test, and BKAT (Basic Knowledge Assessment Tool in Critical Care Nursing) that you must pass before you can start orientation. So I have started to study for those tests (as a start to NCLEX studying) but need some motivation to keep disciplined in my studying. I am impressed at how hard everyone on this thread is working and want to keep in the loop. Good luck to everyone in your studies! We WILL pass!

Hello everyone.!
To one1morestep: Can I also post my review logs here.? It's really cool to see what you and mcunanan have done so far. It really inspires me to study hard on my exam too. :) Ill be taking my NCLEX on the 18th of July, so I only have 48 days left.
My materials are: Hurst online review, Saunders 5th ed book and their Q&A software, PAD, and NCLEX 4000. I hope this will be enough for me to pass because this is going to be my second take.. but I musn't stop there right.?
Anyway, hope I can keep up with your post guys.

june 2 & 3 plans: finish self-check qbanks in ncsbn review then work on as much as medsurg contents as possible.
june 4 & 5plans: totally finish ncsbn, will expire on june 5th.
happy weekends everyone!
Got my ATT today & scheduled for June 21 - officially less than three weeks til exam day - AHHH!!!
I have only 8 chapters left in Saunders to review (all pharm). Been consistently 80%+ on PrepU quizzes for the past few days. Now that I have a date, it's crunch time.. hoping to do 100 questions a day minimum from here on out 5-6 days per week, finish my Saunders chapters, read over important notes from my 5-day review class and just do as many questions (with rationale!) as possible. One of my biggest struggles right now are SATA and pharm, so most of my energy will be focused on these.
Here we go!!!!!
