My biggest pet peeve? When people who have allergies or a cold, you are minding your own business trying to chart or talk on the phone, will sniff up copious amounts of snoog, until I finally hand them a box of kleenex and say, please, please BLOW already!! Top it off with a nasty clearing of the throat thing......BLOW....SPIT....but STOP making that horrible noise!! (I have an adversion to mucus.....) LOLOLOLOL
lol..... :rotfl:

People who think that UR is an acceptable substitute for you are, your, or you're.
People who don't know the difference between you're and your.
People who don't know the difference between they're, there, and their.
People who don't know the difference between lose and loose.
People who don't know the difference between definitely and defiantly. (Sadly, this includes my son's 6th grade teacher.)
Can I be a crusty old bat even though I'm still a nursing student? I *am* 43yo, so maybe I can be an honorary C.O.B.???

The lose/loose thing drives me nuts too! You don't "loose" weight, you lose it, for heaven's sake! ;-)

I hate when people lick their fingers to turn a page- especially at work
I also REALLY hate when people call off right at 9pm on a Saturday night. Just because you have to call off by 9 o'clock (or two hours before your shift), doesn't mean you HAVE to call off right at 9! We will never get anyone now as it is way too late on weekend night and we will be working short. If you're going to blow off work, at least give us some time to find someone..

I hate it when people eat with their mouths open, lip smacking and grunting during a meal....yes, nurses I've worked with!

Granted when you lose a lot if weight your skin may become rather loose. :)
My pet peeve: alot is not a word. It is two words a lot, and allot is not a substitution for a+lot....
Have you read this blog, by any chance?
Yes. Now when anyone writes "alot" I think of her creature and smile. ...
He is a cute fella, isn't he? LOL
