I am working 16 hour shifts on the weekends and my feet burn something awful by the end of the second say. So does anyone know of a good shoe that might help? I have tried Danskos and they aren't doing it for me.......

I have tried Spiras (the springs in heel and ball of foot) and started having plantar fasciitis pain.
Birks make my back hurt (I am overweight and have all 5 lumbar discs bulging).
Orthaheels help with foot pain and back pain is not made worse.
I am hoping I can still find a shoe that will really help with everything!

I am curious, what did you choose in the end? Did they help?

Yes I know how it hurtssss
Try taking off shoes while you're sitting on the nurse chair or standing still.
It's really hard to find a better shoes~~

I would also suggest Keens but the hiking shoe style not "street shoes". Great for wider feet and impact absorption. Danskos gave me shin splints. Most importantly, change your shoes mid shift or daily to give your feet a break. Have a few different pairs available and switch them out. Stretch your gastrocs throughout the day as well!! I've had plantar fasciitis for 16 months and have learned all this the hard way! Good luck...
