Hello all,
I Just wanted to know if anyone applied to MUSC for fall 2017, I applied and frankly I am a bit nervous. Also, I would like to hear any experience from the spring 2017 folks.
Thank you
Hi!
Joining in on this post as I also applied to MUSC for fall 2017. I've worked in healthcare administration for about 6 years (first 5 in Pedi Hem/Onc and remaining in Neonatology), Bachelors in Economics, currently volunteer at a youth homeless shelter in seattle, and have shadowed in two NICUs and in the inpatient and outpatient cancer units in Boston. I've applied to a few other places and am waiting to hear back from Umass Amherst, NEU, UIC (i just interviewed with them), OHSU, and MUSC.
For the pre-re deficiencies, this almost nearly gave me a heart attack so I emailed the admissions coordinator. The deficiencies didn't mean I didn't complete them, it meant that I was waived but there's no way to indicate that on the progress screen. I would email Katie Patterson if you are worried about what the pre-req deficiencies might mean in your case because mine was for English Composition and Microbiology.
Hey! I also applied for Fall 2017! I read on their page and you just need to have 3/4 science prereqs complete by the time your application is reviewed. I also am showing 3 prereq deficiencies but I completed two last semester and didn't send an updated transcript because I figured I would just send it after I graduate this semester if I get in! I'm very anxiously waiting. My GPA is a 3.49 and I worked at a patient care technician at a hospital for 13 months. Have y'all gotten in anywhere else?

@samaria37 you may just not have checked the box that said you would like to receive more financial aid information. The only reason I asked about it was because it seemed like the decision letters typically followed soon after in previous feeds.
