MUSC nursing application fall 2017

Hello all,

I Just wanted to know if anyone applied to MUSC for fall 2017, I applied and frankly I am a bit nervous. Also, I would like to hear any experience from the spring 2017 folks.

Yah, they answered me this morning. Was one of the accepted In-state applicants. whoop!

Congrats! What were your stats btw?

Overall GPA was 3.7-ish ; Science/Prerequisite GPA was 3.6-3.7. Couple Hundred hours of Volunteering but no work experience. (**side note : I'm fairly certain my undergrad school gets a GPA boost at MUSC medical school, but I'm not sure about nursing : if so its more like a 4.2 GPA) ... Good Luck All ! In state! Been living here for 2 years. Originally from California and i went to school there for kinesiology.

Called this morning and I was also accepted!!!! So incredibly excited to start in the fall and get to know all of y'all!

Well.... I came home from a very stressful work day, and I was relieved to see a thick envelope. :) !!!! I can't believe I made it.

CONGRATS! To all those who got accepted! I can't wait to get started and meet everyone. For those who did not get accepted...DON'T GIVE UP! Apply again in December and in the mean time, build your application up. Get those patient care hours, apply for jobs at MUSC and most importantly...NETWORK! Tell EVERYONE about your plans...you never know who people know! Like they say, it's not always what you know it's who you know.
