MUSC nursing application fall 2017

Hello all,

I Just wanted to know if anyone applied to MUSC for fall 2017, I applied and frankly I am a bit nervous. Also, I would like to hear any experience from the spring 2017 folks.

I only applied to MUSC and Clemson's new Accelerated Program. I should be hearing from Clemson towards the end of March but lately I have been thinking about it and I'm not sure if I would attend Clemson's program if I don't get into MUSC this cycle. Since I'm a Charleston local it just makes more sense financially to work as a CNA or PCT for a few months and reapply for MUSC's spring semester. But overall I'm not trying to think about it until I hear from MUSC!!! Fingers and toes crossed! How bout the rest of y'all? Are you waiting on decisions from other schools?

Does anyone know when letters plan to go out? Also, from looking at previous posts, it looks like people who are on MUSC campus can look up the statistics for this cohort. Anyone out there able to do that? Crossing my fingers!

I was told on Feb. 20th that decisions would be made and mailed out within the next two weeks...

I called today but I wasn't able to get any information regarding acceptance but she did say letters would be mailed out either tomorrow or the day after.

Thanks for calling!! My prereqs are still being evaluated. Hmm.. I turned in my application on Jan 15th, so I guess it didn't get reviewed because it was too late? Dang. Waste of $$. hehe.

No I don't think you were late at all. Nine days the same as well. I just think they probably didn't update it yet.

I called again yesterday and they said the same thing about today or tomorrow. If they mailed them out this morning they should be able to tell you over the phone if you were accepted or not. 843-792-8515

Ugh I feel sick to my stomach waiting!! Hopefully we will know either way by Thursday or Friday. Thank you for sharing @mandi92 and @samaria37!!

Letters are being mailed today. We can call starting tomorrow morning to find out whether we were accepted. Good luck!
