Does anyone know if this is a good program? I'm thinking about applying for it for Fall '08, but I don't know anyone who has gone to the school. I would love to know anything from quality of faculty to design of the program to how difficult it is to get accepted. Do most people who start the program graduate? Does anyone work during the program? Really anything would be very appreciated!

Were they nice when you called? I don't know if I am nervous about getting in or if they will be mad about calling in.

She was very nice.. I would call if I were you because they aren't sending out letters until they finish the alternate list. So you could be waiting for several more days

The lady (peggy) was extremely nice and, given her position of telling people that they didn't get in if that was the case, was really apologetic. They are still assembling the letters for accepted people but once the processing is done and letters (acceptances and rejections) go out, we can have a one on one conversation about what we can do different for the next application

it really does stink not getting in though, no acceptances here yet. Waiting on 2 more schools in state. Good luck everyone:up:

I didn't get in either......very sad. I didn't ask why, but I'm guessing it is because I still have to finish taking some pre-reqs. I'm taking 12 hours this semester and 7 more this summer. Aside from that I have a 4.0 with two years working in a hospital, so I can't imagine it would be anything else! Bummer!!!!!

Oh my gosh. Did she say why to you guys? She said that my being out of state had a lot to do with the decision. Super sad.:crying2:

That really scares me! I grew up in state (Hilton Head) but lived in NC for a few years. I moved back to SC in June, so even though I will be an SC resident by the time school starts, they told me I had to apply as out-of-state. I will be crushed if I don't get in for that reason, but I'm too afraid to call!

I was accepted as well!!!! I almost want to call back and ask Peggy to check one more time lol.

Best of luck in the future and with other programs to you guys who weren't accepted. I'll see the rest in August!!!!!!!!!!!!
