Nursing Students School Programs
Published Oct 2, 2017
I am currently in the process of applying to Musc's Absn program for fall 2018! I was wondering if anyone else is applying and what you stats are/will be before the application is due!

Do we need to just send one initial transcript or a transcript every time a course is completed?
I would call and ask them. But I think I would send one in at the end of Fall semester if you were taking any nursing courses and at the end of spring 2018 for sure for all final courses (prerequisites).
For some reason MUSC's ABSN website is down! Just fyi.

Not yet I did regular admission. My GPA went down a little bit so I was just wondering if we were required to send in another. It was a prerequisite course
I feel like it's always down when I go to look at it!

I still haven't heard anything
Do you get notified if you weren't selected for priority?

I'm not positive but I think if you don't get selected for priority admission then you will find out if you got in or not at the normal time! I swear I read that somewhere a while ago! I would just look at their website to see if you are able to find something!! good luck!!
Yes you are right, students not selected for priority are then put in the pool with regular admissions. I just emailed admissions to ask what it meant if I had not been notified.
Were you noticed via email or regular mail?
I applied for regular admission not priority!

I also applied for regular admission. Does anyone know the stats of number of students accepted to this program out of state?

I'm also an out-of-state applicant, regular admission, waiting to hear.

Hey all, got my application in just before the deadline. Anybody know when they will get back to us?
For those who were accepted early, what sort of GPA did you have and how much experience?
I am in-state, soon to have a B.A. in public health, with about a 3.8 prereq. and 3.55 total GPA. Hope that makes the cut.

When I called for information a couple months ago, they said decisions would be made within 8 weeks of the deadline.
I'm also out-of-state, but I don't know the stats on acceptance numbers.
