I am currently in the process of applying to Musc's Absn program for fall 2018! I was wondering if anyone else is applying and what you stats are/will be before the application is due!
I think if you applied by the priority deadline (Nov 15), you will hear by the end of December 2017!!! I also think it is a binding decision, so if they accept you I think you are required to go there.
Don't mean to sound ill-informed, but may I ask you what you mean by a binding decision. This is the first time I heard that.
When you apply somewhere for early admission, it is typically a binding decisions, meaning, if they accept, you have to attend. Usually they say that in a priority application to let you know that's how it works. If you are applying for regular admission you should hear late february/early march, since they do not start looking at applications until jan 8th for regular admission.

Programs with Priority Admission
The Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing Accelerated BSN Program has a Priority admission for the academically superior student. Applicants willing to sign a binding commitment to the College of Nursing as their first choice may apply under Priority Admission. Following acceptance of the college's offer of admission, applicants must withdraw all applications that have been submitted to other nursing programs and file no further college applications. Applying to the priority admission involves a commitment to the payment of matriculation and tuition fees at MUSC.
Qualifications
To qualify for priority admission, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
Have earned a 3.8 GPA in prerequisite coursework and a 3.5 in overall coursework
Have completed three out of the four required science courses. The required science courses are four semester hours each of the following: Human Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and a science elective
Submit a completed application with reference forms, resume, essay, and official transcripts of all post high school education.
Deadline
The application deadline for Priority admission for the Fall semester is November 15. Applicants will be informed in writing of the Admission, Preogression, and Graduation Committee's decision by December 31.

"No pre-admission testing is required, such as the GRE, SAT, or TEAS."
