  1. Hi pam3, I don't know the exact number they accept, but I know you have a better chance of being accepted if you apply on the earlier deadlines like October versus the later ones cause they base the later deadlines on how many people have accepted. There's 111 in my cohort and that's about the typical size. The deposit was $300. To be honest about tuition, not very many people got scholarships and at least for my cohort, they didn't give us much for financial aid. Pretty much everyone I know had to take out private loans. For us, because we're more a part of the graduate schools, we don't live on campus. A lot of people live at campus crossings or Emory point apartments. Campus crossings actually does roommate matching. There's also an Emory roommates Facebook page that people use which is how I found my roommates. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  2. Hey! I'm a current ABSN student at Emory if any of you guys have questions! I'm part of the cohort that started this semester
  3. Just got my acceptance!! Anyone else hear back yet?
  4. Do you know where we go to find the merit based awards?
  5. I just accepted the offer! I still haven't heard back from my other schools but this was my dream school
  6. I got accepted! I have a 3.45 GPA overall, 3.27 in prerequisites, used my ACT from 4 years ago that I got a 33 on, and I work as a CNA at the local hospital
  7. I'd be coming from California too!
  8. On the application, there is a spot to put test scores but on the website it says no test is required. Do you guys know if it looks better if we put test scores? I've tried calling the school but can never get a hold of anyone.
  9. Good to know that we won't hear till November 15th. Now I don't have to keep checking my OPUS page daily. Did you guys get the email about financial aid? Are we supposed to wait to fill it out till we figure out if we got accepted?
  10. I submitted my ACT from high school cause it was within the five year requirement still and I got a 33 on it and I haven't taken the TEAS yet so this time around I'm applying only to schools that don't need a test or can use the ACT and then if I don't get in to any, I'll take the TEAS
  11. Hi! I applied for the October 15th deadline. I'm gonna be coming from California if I get in. My GPA is 3.5. I'm a CNA at the local hospital, a CPR instructor, and president of the nursing club at my school. Emory was my dream school for undergrad, but it was too expensive at the time, so I'm really hoping I get to go there for nursing.
  12. Hi! I'm applying for fall absn too! My cumulative GPA is about a 3.5 and prerequisite is about a 3.4. I've been working as a CNA part-time for 9 months, am a CPR/BLS instructor, and do physical fitness and body composition testing through a club at my school. I'm out of state and will be coming from California.
