MTSAC's lottery number (2010)

I just received my lottery number and I am number 926! I applied November 2009.

I just wanted to put the information on here so we can see how far we are along the list. I know that some people will pick other programs, change majors, etc and hoping my number will go down. But 929 is very high and seems that I wont get in for years.

Here are the numbers that I got some someone else.

Wow! nice!! :) Sounds to me like you should get in sooner than Fall 2011! I'll keep my fingers crossed from you! The last letter in got in May said I was #308, and that was a big jump from Jan (#838), so I'm hoping and praying I'll be in the 100's when we get the letters again in Aug/Sept. Hopefully I get in soon! :confused: Best of luck to you! Lets post our #'s when we get them next month! :yeah:

Oh, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I hope I do get in at least next Fall 2011. But I dont want to get my hopes up! I'm just waiting patiently and keeping busy. Getting everything ready for when I do start. I will definitely post my numbers here once I receive my letter. I wish you all the best too! Just know that there will is light at the end of the tunnel and we still have to pass the program too! Yikes! :)

Hello everyone,

FYI-I just called the Nursing office and they said that the letters will be going out 2nd week in September. I will post my numbers as soon as I get them. Good luck to everyone!

Hello,

I called the nursing dept. today to see if they would be cutting the program admittance down to 50 students per semester. She told me, no. So now I am really confused. I guess we will just have to keep our fingers crossed and wait. However, she said that the updated letters would go out the third week of September, and they are running a little behind.

Hey DD! Yes I heard the same thing. They are sending out the letters around the second week of sept. Third week doesn't surprise me though. Mt. Sac seems to always run behind on this stuff :confused: I've heard that they are eventually cutting down the students they are accepting per semester. I've called and asked and they told me "No, we havent heard that". Im sure its all behind closed doors for now until they figure out the who, what and when. So, in the mean time, to keep everyone calm...they tell us.... No :uhoh3:

Hey There,

I know it is frustrating and believe that the Nursing Department does not want to leak any information out. We just need to hope for the best! I even hope they go back to accepting 96 students! But yeah that is just me hoping.:) I can't wait to receive our new letters! I will post mine as soon as I get the letter. Keep your head everyone! There is light under the tunnel!

Hello everyone! So I just got my letter in mail today. My # is now 215 :crying2:. That's 93 less than my last number. Sigh............ Good luck everyone!

Hey guys, i got my lottery number today from Mt. Sac. I was at my boy friends house and my mom called me up to read me the letter. She read the numbers wrong! i she said i was number 214. But i got home and read the letter it said my lottery number is 2149 and my position in line is 473. I applied March 2010. Whats everyone elses number out there if y ou don't mind sharing???

I only went down about 60 person. :(

270-ish now. means another 2 yrs wait.

I am rounding these numbers (-5/+5) was 926, 333, now 270. Applied Nov 2009.

hey gang, think of this....

My wait would be another two years to get in their program, plus 2 years in their program, .5 yr wait while I applied = 4.5ys to complete my adn degree if all goes according to plan. If you have above avg science GPA and overall, I suggest you apply to other schools that base on GPA and/or point system.

70% overall. means you can get 65% in math and 90% in English...but make sure your overall is 70. The Hesi practice book was very helpful...but I only studied for 3 hrs prior to the test and passed. LOL

I didn't care for getting a 93%, I just wanted to pass bc Mtsac does not base on score as point system. good luck

I went down 93 spots from 358 to 265. So if they average around 90 people to get the 60 that they need, it looks like it's 3 semester more semesters or so. Spring 2012...oh joy
