Mt. Sac nursing 2017

Hi guys,

I just submitted my application to Mt. Sac just a few days ago. I know they are taking applications until Sept. 1, 2016. This application period is for a start date Spring 17'

I'll be posting any updates on here, hopefully others will also contribute to their experience or updates on their process.

Mine is on Thursday! Let me know how yours goes and what they say about 78 points being in or alternate! Please!

Oh I definitely will! It's at 8am so expect an update early! Lol. I'm hoping it means we're in! 77 is a pretty high cut off!!

lol that's fine! I have two kiddos so I'm up way before that everyday anywho í ½í¸† I hope so too! I applied to chaffey as well but haven't heard back yet

well I might have to reschedule my appointment! I assumed I could go to my school (rio Hondo) and get my transcripts but I just read they only mail transcripts they don't let you hand carry them out. Soooo I might have to wait until they get mailed to me :facepalm:

I just got out of my counseling appointment and ended up at #12 with 87 points. :laugh:

Yes, I've also applied to RCC, but Mt. Sac is my 1st. choice

Nothing much, really... basically just that invitations will be sent out in early November and that mandatory orientation is from Jan 10-13 all day.

thats still good!! Even if the cut off is accurate and you are on a wait list you'll be high up there! I have a friend in the program right now and she told me her semester everyone on the wait list except 2 got in!

I had my appointment yesterday. I have 78 points I was #40 on the list. So I'm for sure IN. Yeay!! She said that they sent out 100 emails for appointments and was sure many people from the waitlist would get in. 5 people have already dropped their seat for other schools. She said last semester all the waitlist people were called in! They also had to call those NOT on waitlist. The lowest points last year was 70-72. So for everyone out there still waiting keep hope alive. Check your MT. Sac email!! Nothing is set in stone!! Good luck everyone and can't wait to meet you all!
