  1. don't forget to bring $4 in ones or change to pay for parking!! And bring lunch or money for food. :)
  2. Soooo excited!! But scared as hell for the ride.
  3. Email says to attach and show all work.
  4. When they send out offical letters during the first week of November it will have the deadline to accept or deny. If you don't reply to the email by deadline your seat will given to the next person on waitlist. Not sure if 77 or above is in or not. But you have to have seat 1-60 to be guaranteed a seat.
  5. FYI to everyone that is definitely in. You will need to complete two course requirements. Make sure you have the counselor check if you have met these so you can do ASAP. The first is due before second semester!! you will need child development 10/ or developmental psychology 14. Before you start third semester you need psychology 1a. She also mentioned Speech1a but if you have a posted degree this should have been met already. Just passing the info on so you can get a head start during winter. Good luck!!
  6. I had my appointment yesterday. I have 78 points I was #40 on the list. So I'm for sure IN. Yeay!! She said that they sent out 100 emails for appointments and was sure many people from the waitlist would get in. 5 people have already dropped their seat for other schools. She said last semester all the waitlist people were called in! They also had to call those NOT on waitlist. The lowest points last year was 70-72. So for everyone out there still waiting keep hope alive. Check your MT. Sac email!! Nothing is set in stone!! Good luck everyone and can't wait to meet you all!
  7. Dont give up just yet nothing is set in stone till November some people may drop because Mt. Sac was their second choice school. Also there are always ways to improve in the point system. One of my friends went to get her bachelors before applying and this raised her score by 10 points. Also 200 volunteer hours will give you 5. And working to raise your GPA to 3.6 or better. Getting an LVN license first and taking the advanced track will be another route you can take. There will be another application period in Jan. And many more after that use this time to improve. Don't give up. Keep working hard you can do it!
  8. Hello everyone. The phones are working now! Yesterday there was a power outage, so I also had trouble getting through. I just called today (weds) 9am. I was able to make an appointment for the 11th.
  9. I just got mine too!! So excited to see what number I am on the list!!!
  10. No nothing here either.
  11. Doesn't the wait seem like a lifetime. Lol.
  12. Thanks for checking!! Made me start to worry.
  13. Hello everyone. Has anyone received an email yet? I'm curious as to when they are going out.
  14. Hey everyone I just applied also. As nervous as can be I have 79 points. From looking at other posts most people got in with at least 74 points any lower than that were alternatives. Hope we all get in it's been a long process.
