Good evening everyone,
I didn't see a thread for potential Mt sac nursing students applying for Fall 2018. Since, I am from Northern California I think this is the best way for me to connect with the others who are applying.
How many points are you applying with ?
I went to councelor on Monday and they said this year was backwards.. usually they review all applications then have the verification appointments. She said it could be why they were stalling since they've never done it this way before... I just want to stop checking my email and spam 10 times a day...
Hello,I was wondering if someone can let me know what the cut off points were for acceptance into the ADN program. Also, if there's any advice on studying for the HESI as I am planning on applying in July. Thank you and Congrats to those who were accepted.
Hi. It really depends on how competitive the period will be. For HESI, 70 is a pass, but you only get 15 points on this in the multicreteria system. So the higher the better. 90 in HESI earns you 30 points. Last fall the cut off was 72 and this spring was 78. So you can never tell. Bit if you have a total of 80 points, you are safe. You can check Mtsac nursing multicriteria screening system for more information.
Hey all, hope all is well! Has anyone received that email confirming acceptance? It may be too early, but if someone on here has already received it, then i'll start to check my email more than once a day lol
I just went to the department this morning. They said they were still working on it. They would send the emails afther 15th. Last time they told me btw 1-15.
Well that could mean anything, it could be next month for all we know. They've already pushed it back a month from April. All the other colleges I applied to were so fast. Hopefully we hear some information really soon.I just went to the department this morning. They said they were still working on it. They would send the emails afther 15th. I guess so. Maybe they want some students who apply to other schools to make decisions before they send the emails so that they get all students whose top options is them.

Based on their multi-creteria screening system, I don't think so. How can they decided a person's personality?
