i have a quick question, lets say you had a mid 80's on the point system and already had the verification appointment. Is there any reason they would deny you acceptance even though you were in the top 60 of applicants? Like do they judge your personality and interaction at the counselor meeting?

Based on their multi-creteria screening system, I don't think so. How can they decided a person's personality?

I went to councelor on Monday and they said this year was backwards.. usually they review all applications then have the verification appointments. She said it could be why they were stalling since they've never done it this way before... I just want to stop checking my email and spam 10 times a day...

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can let me know what the cut off points were for acceptance into the ADN program. Also, if there's any advice on studying for the HESI as I am planning on applying in July. Thank you and Congrats to those who were accepted.

Hi. It really depends on how competitive the period will be. For HESI, 70 is a pass, but you only get 15 points on this in the multicreteria system. So the higher the better. 90 in HESI earns you 30 points. Last fall the cut off was 72 and this spring was 78. So you can never tell. Bit if you have a total of 80 points, you are safe. You can check Mtsac nursing multicriteria screening system for more information.

Hey all, hope all is well! Has anyone received that email confirming acceptance? It may be too early, but if someone on here has already received it, then i'll start to check my email more than once a day lol

Melody-Thank you for your response. I have to make the appointment to take the hesi to see where I will fall in terms of the points system but wanted to get an idea what the range was for the terms previous to my application submission.

Well that could mean anything, it could be next month for all we know. They've already pushed it back a month from April. All the other colleges I applied to were so fast. Hopefully we hear some information really soon.

I guess so. Maybe they want some students who apply to other schools to make decisions before they send the emails so that they get all students whose top options is them.
