Good evening everyone,
I didn't see a thread for potential Mt sac nursing students applying for Fall 2018. Since, I am from Northern California I think this is the best way for me to connect with the others who are applying.
How many points are you applying with ?
I didn't see an accept button on my phone email or computer.. I just replied to email from [email protected]
Hi I am relocating to attend mt sacs nursing program. What is housing like in the area ? :)
It's expensive. But if you are a single, it's.easier. You can down load the World Daily app, there are many housing advertisements. The apartment across the Grand Ave is not good. Expensive and many people smoke marijuna. Good luck.
Hi Melody! Thanks for letting me know! World daily app? I wasn't able to find that! But thank you. I am having a lot of trouble finding affordable housing.[/quoteSorry. It's a Chinese media. Itthought it might have English version. But apparently no. Sometimes there are posters on the bullet boards in Mtsac offering rooms too. Wish you good luck.

Anything west or around the area of Mt. Sac area (Walnut, Diamond Bar, etc) will be expensive. Housing in general whether in/near Mt. SAC is NOT worth it simply because it's one of the largest community colleges in SoCal. Not to mention that Cal-Poly is literally up the next hill. The housing market, house, apartment, condo, etc will be jacked up in prices because of theses schools. It is getting more common for people to move more inland where it's a bit cheaper but deal with the long commute. Check out the San Bernardino County cities (Ontario, Chino, Montclair). Can branch further into Fontana, Colton, Redlands area where housing may be a bit more affordable but commute is even further. Hope this helps.

They sent me one also, but I never seen the "I accept button" on the bottom of the email.
