  1. No comments in 2020? I am doing research for RN TO BSN online program and came upon with this school today. Will talk to their specialist next Monday.
  2. You have to finish prerequisites to apply because the GPA of the 3 prerequisites is part of the screening system and weighs the heavist:40 points. You don't need the degree though. But it helps because it earns you 8 points.
  3. No waitlist. It's not a lottery. It's a one time process according to your points based on the multicreteria screening system. You can google it. If your points are high enough, you get in. If not, reapply next time. No waiting.
  4. I think if you need more paper, you can write on extra paper. I used one more piece of paper.
  5. True. West Covina is cheaper. But I have a family here and don't want to spend too much time on the road, especially when I have early morning classes, so we stay here. It's convenient. I just walk to and off school everyday.
  6. It's expensive. But if you are a single, it's.easier. You can down load the World Daily app, there are many housing advertisements. The apartment across the Grand Ave is not good. Expensive and many people smoke marijuna. Good luck.
  7. Got mine too!
  8. Congrats. Hesi is required for applying and Mtsac provides 120 free Hesi test spots each semester. Just remember to register one before the end of this semester. It will be fully booked before you realize it. Check their website at the end of May. This fall's cuttoff was 78.
  9. I guess so. Maybe they want some students who apply to other schools to make decisions before they send the emails so that they get all students whose top options is them.
  10. I just went to the department this morning. They said they were still working on it. They would send the emails afther 15th. Last time they told me btw 1-15.
  11. Hi. It really depends on how competitive the period will be. For HESI, 70 is a pass, but you only get 15 points on this in the multicreteria system. So the higher the better. 90 in HESI earns you 30 points. Last fall the cut off was 72 and this spring was 78. So you can never tell. Bit if you have a total of 80 points, you are safe. You can check Mtsac nursing multicriteria screening system for more information.
  12. Based on their multi-creteria screening system, I don't think so. How can they decided a person's personality?
  13. Yesterday I went there, and they told me they would send the email between May 1st and 15th. The orientation would be around June 18th. But not for sure.
  14. Best luck to you! For I have not taken TREAS, so I don't really know about it. My friend took both of HESI AND TEAS in winter and he said TEAS was harder HESI, esp. English part. Those science notes would help for sure. I am going to take the test, I would buy an App and do a lot of practices because I already forgot most of the knowledge. Doing practices is like a reacitivation of the memory for me. Btw, I didn't apply to Citrus in the end because I don't want to take TEAS, lol. So I only applied to Mtsac. Still waiting for the email of acceptance.
