MT SAC FALL 2018
You have to finish prerequisites to apply because the GPA of the 3 prerequisites is part of the screening system and weighs the heavist:40 points. You don't need the degree though. But it helps because it earns you 8 points.

MT SAC FALL 2018
No waitlist. It's not a lottery. It's a one time process according to your points based on the multicreteria screening system. You can google it. If your points are high enough, you get in. If not, reapply next time. No waiting.

I think if you need more paper, you can write on extra paper. I used one more piece of paper.

True. West Covina is cheaper. But I have a family here and don't want to spend too much time on the road, especially when I have early morning classes, so we stay here. It's convenient. I just walk to and off school everyday.

It's expensive. But if you are a single, it's.easier. You can down load the World Daily app, there are many housing advertisements. The apartment across the Grand Ave is not good. Expensive and many people smoke marijuna. Good luck.- MT SAC FALL 2018
Got mine too!- MT SAC FALL 2018
Congrats. Hesi is required for applying and Mtsac provides 120 free Hesi test spots each semester. Just remember to register one before the end of this semester. It will be fully booked before you realize it. Check their website at the end of May. This fall's cuttoff was 78.- MT SAC FALL 2018
I guess so. Maybe they want some students who apply to other schools to make decisions before they send the emails so that they get all students whose top options is them.- MT SAC FALL 2018
I just went to the department this morning. They said they were still working on it. They would send the emails afther 15th. Last time they told me btw 1-15.- MT SAC FALL 2018
Hi. It really depends on how competitive the period will be. For HESI, 70 is a pass, but you only get 15 points on this in the multicreteria system. So the higher the better. 90 in HESI earns you 30 points. Last fall the cut off was 72 and this spring was 78. So you can never tell. Bit if you have a total of 80 points, you are safe. You can check Mtsac nursing multicriteria screening system for more information.- MT SAC FALL 2018
Based on their multi-creteria screening system, I don't think so. How can they decided a person's personality?- MT SAC FALL 2018
Yesterday I went there, and they told me they would send the email between May 1st and 15th. The orientation would be around June 18th. But not for sure.- Citrus college adn fall 2018
Best luck to you! For I have not taken TREAS, so I don't really know about it. My friend took both of HESI AND TEAS in winter and he said TEAS was harder HESI, esp. English part. Those science notes would help for sure. I am going to take the test, I would buy an App and do a lot of practices because I already forgot most of the knowledge. Doing practices is like a reacitivation of the memory for me. Btw, I didn't apply to Citrus in the end because I don't want to take TEAS, lol. So I only applied to Mtsac. Still waiting for the email of acceptance.- Citrus college adn fall 2018
Hi. What do you use to study for TEAS? I remember seeing several people who got over 90 in HESI say they used an App to study. I feel it's a good idea. Practice is a good way to review in a short time.- MT SAC FALL 2018
I remember my counselor checked the schedule and we should hear from the department in April. But the nursing department's website shows they send the email in May. So I am not sure now.- MT SAC FALL 2018
Hi. I think you are safe. When I met with my counselor, she didn't really tell me the lowest points of the top 60 students, but I accidentally caught it on her screen when she checked the list. It was 78 points and that is one of my classmate. Her counselor didn't tell her her status for sure but said she had good chance. My counselor asked me not to tell her because the points might be wrong so people would move up and down so nothing was really certain. But I think 79 is safe.- MT SAC FALL 2018
Hey, Candicore! It was great you got in last year. I have been to the counselling and I think I am in this semester finally. You said it's good to read ahead and do Pharm Hw. Can you give us more information? Like what book should we use? Edition wise? Thank you and enjoy your first semester!- MT SAC FALL 2018
Patpat. Last semester I was so sure that I could get in but I was denied because they said they couldn't open my transcripts from Mtsac itself out of mystery reason! I got all As in Mtsac and 91.6 in HESI. I didn't get any chance because I was rejected on the first step! I was so shocked when they told me the reason when I went there asking why I didn't get the email. So I understand how you feel. This semester I was very careful before I submitted the application and after that I called them to open my application to make sure the same mistake wouldn't happen again. I think thia time I am in. So hang on there! Plus, I have three kids and I went to division to appeal but was useless.- MT SAC FALL 2018
Hi. I don't thinkall students on the waiting mist can eventually get in. Only several top alternates can get in every semester because some top 60 students tranfer or drop out. Last semester's cut off was 72 which was the lowest in history. This spring's lowest top 60 was 78 before counselling. But I don't know if there was aby change or not after counselling.- Mt. Thanks for sharing! It sounds scary and a lot! Hold on there!- Mt. Sac nursing program spring 2018
Hi everybody! I hope all of you are enjoying yourselves in these two weeksï¼I reapplied this semester and just got the email yesterday. This time it was one month sooner for us to get the email. At first I thought I was rejected again for some mystery reason because I didn't found my email when my classmate told me the news. Then I found it in the spam box! Several of my classmates had the same problem and I don't know why. Anyway, I am glad finally I got it. I am going to see the cpunselor in an hour. I hope everything will be fine. I can't afford more waiting! If anyone can share something about the class schedule here, it would be appreciated! Like how many classes do we have each week? What classes are you having now? How many sections do they provide for one course? What does it mean by"arrange 16.8 hours with some professor"? Are the classes hard? I just want to have some ideas of it. Thank you very much! Have a nice start!- Citrus college adn fall 2018
No. I only apply to Mt Sac. Citrus is my backup, but I am not sure if I can get in Citrus or not.- Citrus college adn fall 2018
Thanks for your information! I don't have the working experience either, which really measures a lot. I am applying to Mt Sac too. They have different addmission multi criteria system which focuses more on the academic grades. I hope I can get in this time. - MT SAC FALL 2018
