Nursing Students School Programs
Published May 2, 2019
Hello everyone I am just starting a thread to see if anyone else plans on applying to Mountain View in the fall for spring 2020. Or anyone who goes there how many points should I strive for to get into the programs. Hope to hear from y’all.

I think the camp is mostly to give us all the financial breakdown and the student expectations for the next two years of our lives.Realistically and honestly, they shouldn’t make it rain school fees on us at one time and expect us to pay it all on the same day without any warning. We will probably get order forms/information for our scrubs, classes, Liability Insurance, test exams, etc as well as the deadline to obtain/pay for these items.
lol hopefully anyways. Excited to meet you all.

Do we have to order the skills nursing pack or can we can order it at a cheaper rate? If we do, does it have to be sent to the school before out success camp. I'm pretty sure is cheaper to get it on Amazon.

I believe we do have to purchase it from where the school want because different schools have different items in their skills pack.

We unfortunately have to buy the skills pack and my friend who is currently in her second semester said our class will have the newer version of the books they have. I’m not sure though if we have the option to use the older version
Lol great. It sounds like they’re going to want us to purchase the new set of books. So much for saving money on the book package.

If you haven't applied to Texas Tech CENP you better do it now. I talked to coordinators today and they said the program is going away after the summer. So this coming Spring and Summer are the last semesters left to take those courses and they're discontinuing it.

Wow! This is information i didn't know. I wonder why they are getting rid of it? So I wonder for those people like myself that if I take the last class in the summer, will I be grandfathered in and we will finish the r n to bsn program on the back end?

This should have the info that you’re looking for. I’m surprised that the program is going away.
