This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )
Good luck to all you!!

Hi Vandalena ~ The interview went ok (I think). It was a lot shorter than I expected.... not sure if that's a good sign or a bad sign?? I asked her when we would hear back about decisions, she said 1-2 weeks. Fingers crossed! When's your interview? Good luck, relax, just be yourself :)
p.s. Does anybody know how many people are interviewing? I forgot to ask that...
Has anyone finished the Bio-Ethic course from Taylor recently? How did you do on your 30 page paper and how is the new teacher. I was taking in, but the old teacher died and they suspended the course. I need to resume it, but the new teacher didn't have it together yet and was very difficult with grading. Thanks for the help!
Hi everyone!
I had my interview today, and I thought it went pretty well! For those who also had theirs already, I'm curious what questions they asked.
I also, was wondering how many applicants they were interviewing but forgot to ask!. If anyone finds out can you let us know?!
Thanks and good luck to everyone!
Pauliwankenobi....worst part is that I finished that paper first for the old professor and then the new professor said he didn't like it and it was all wrong. I was like *** the old professor didn't have any issues, but since he didn't grade it before he died I have to redo it. I am so deterred by this class....I don't like the new professor and don't want to do anymore papers for him. He is hard core teaching this class like it is a grad school course. I am wondering if they got someone new or if it is still S. P. Can you let me know?

I just got my first pair of skinny jeans a few weeks ago, and was thinking that this might be a great place to test them out. Guess not? LOL. When we get in, we'll have to wear a pair to our orientation.
