This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )

HAHA, none of my business clothes fit. I gained 10 pounds from going back to school and another 10:idea: from knee surgery last December, I haven't been able to get either off. I have got to figure something out!
Pauliwankenobi....what a good laugh! I was like *** is he serious??? Very funny. I don't even have a resume for the nursing program. Are we supposed to?
HA! You guys are funny, thanks for all the input. I'd totally be with you on the skinny jeans Pauliwankenobi... except they kind of make me look like an oompa loompa.
Also being that I'm a straight male and nursing is mainly a female dominated career, I kind of knew MSMC was an all female college and I didn't want to hear gossip all day. j/k.
wow. really? even if you are "j/k", that's a huge stereotype and you just completely overgeneralized the women at msmc. i take particular offense to this because i'm in the absn program already and contrary to your distorted belief, we don't sit around and gossip all day. so next time, think abt what you say before you try taking a jab at a predominately all women's college.
littleliz...that's ok because I look like the "jolly green giant" when I tried them on. I am almost 6 feet tall and they were only 3 inches to short..LOL! Yes is was a laugh for everyone in the store!
