Nursing Students School Programs

I haven't seen any threads for the Mount Sinai ABSN Fall 2022 entry yet so I figured I would make one. I know the deadline isn't for a few months but the application has been open since August. Has anyone who already applied heard back yet?

I would recommend scheduling the drug screen now because the lab code they give you expires 2 days after you submit the background check. I had to reschedule mine a few times because the labs near me were booked so far out and I didn't get a new code in time so it was stressful ?

Is it through corporate screening by any chance.

Yep! You just have to click "students start here" and enter the info that is in the acceptance packet. Then I did the drug screen through LabCorp because that was the only accepted lab in my area.
Thank god. The link wouldn't work for some reason and I literally had to dig around Google for it.

what do you need for footwear? I read the dress code and it says no sneakers but I have already have a pair that's white, waterproof, nonslip etc.. are they strict about that?

what were your stats like?

Honestly, they weren't the greatest! They were all in the B range. One class was a C+, and I still need to take Nutrition, and retake the BLS from AHA. BUT I think I made up for it b/c in the past few years I did take some outside health courses, have a certificate in public health w/3.7 GPA, and 2+ years experience In a nursing home(hospice volunteer). I also think I answered my essay questions very well, and I must have done well in the interview too
Oh and my previous bachelors was in Psychology.
