I haven't seen any threads for the Mount Sinai ABSN Fall 2022 entry yet so I figured I would make one. I know the deadline isn't for a few months but the application has been open since August. Has anyone who already applied heard back yet?

Hello everyone! Just wanted to ask if it is OK to buy our scrub uniform from somewhere else besides the website they mentioned in the acceptance email? I looked up the scrubs they have and it just seems so cheap and I’ll fitting. I am interested in buying scrubs in the same color from a different brand…if anyone know if this is OK or not please let me know! Thank you!

Someone on this thread said you don't need to buy from that site. I plan on getting a pair from elsewhere too. They also said sneakers are also OK (the student handbook says no sneakers) but have to be white, probably also waterproof and nonslip.

Hello everyone. I know I asked a while back if other brands are OK for the uniform but I now wanted to ask if the pacific blue color in the brand FIGS is a match for the evergreen color on the school website? It’s nurses week so there is a 20% discount and wanted to take advantage of it if it is in fact the same color.

On the order site and PSON website, it looks like a similar color so I think its OK? I also don't think it matters much if its a shade or two off.

You can also always wait for Black Friday sales for scrubs as well, and there's lots of other nice brands too, that are cheaper.. But I think Figs' sale for BF is at least 20% plus maybe you'll get something extra with the order? Don't quote me tho LOL. Clinical also don't start until the 2nd semester, and I've heard there's only a handful of times you end up in labs during semester 1, so I might buy the default scrubs for the first semester, then buy some nicer ones and keep the other as a back up pair just in case. I imagine 2 pairs will be good to function on.

It looks more like the nursing staff color scrubs than nursing student color

Although I just went back to the suite style site and the stock image looks like the teal and the model is in a forest green so IDK!! I’d love to take advantage of the sale also figs are amazing. Maybe I’ll email and ask

Yes LOL that’s why I’m also confused! And when I look up PSON all the pictures they have of their nursing students on their website have a teal color like the one on the FIGS website but on the uniform website there’s two other colors…. The evergreen and the model shows a darker Hunter green soooo IDK what to do

PSON student scrubs are closer to a hunter green color. Figs doesn't currently have a comparable color match. A lot of people in my cohort purchased these in Hunter Green if you want an idea of the color: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072KJ9JN9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
