Mount Sinai PSON ABSN Fall 2022

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I haven't seen any threads for the Mount Sinai ABSN Fall 2022 entry yet so I figured I would make one. I know the deadline isn't for a few months but the application has been open since August. Has anyone who already applied heard back yet?

Hey guys another quick question…does the program allow for crocs? I was just wondering because I know some other schools are strict about the shoes. If anyone knows please let me know!

Anyone have any idea of what the schedule would look like?

I called today (spoke to whoever picked up the operator line) and they said our schedule will be sent/ made available to access about 1 week before orientation. If you are taking Pharm and/or Patho to be transferred, you won't have to do those. I also asked them about how the classes will be administered and they said currently they are giving us the option to go in-person or not, but labs, clinicals, exams will be in-person, which I think is fair. They basically said they are still trying to figure it out as they go along b/c of covid and all, so hopefully optional in-person is what is settled on.

I think crocs are fine, as they have a line for nurses/health care workers. I think as long as they cover your entire foot/heel they should be fine. Im assuming they might say something about the ones with the partially exposed heel.

I personally would not wear crocs. They stress close toed sneakers for a reason. You’re not a RN yet, once you are you may have some flexibility.

Hi everyone. Quick question. I have not been accepted to the program as of yet but back in April I was told that I was conducted a preliminary review and that I needed to finish my remaining courses and to provided a tentative date when finish. Since then I have been in contact with Tuan Le just providing updates of the classes that I have finish. Do you think it’s looking good or no shot? Thank you for any feedback.

Hey girl. The same exact thing happened to me but I was accepted about a month ago. I finished applying on the last day. I would say it’s a good sign but since it’s already June I don’t know if all seats have been filled. Hopefully they haven’t but I would reach out again to ask for an update.

Hey everyone, is any one moving to NYC from out of state?

I was initially going to start Summer but deferred to fall. So I will start fall as well.

Hey, I was late to finding this board, but I'll be attending this fall and am moving from DC!
