Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2021

Hi everyone, 

I know there's forums for Mount Sinai's ABSN program for the last couple of cohorts, but nothing for Summer 2021. Thought I'd start this one and see if anyone else has applied for the Summer 2021 start? 

would anyone else share stats ?

My undergraduate GPA was 3.6 overall and 3.7 for science.

I was a public health major and I did about 300 hours of volunteering and internship in hospitals while in college.

I submitted my application a few weeks back, can anyone comment on how many weeks it took for admissions to get back to you regarding a decision? thanks!

It took about a month for them to get back to me.

hey everyone! Was wondering how strict PSON is with the word limit for the essays? My essays are all over 200 words and wanted to know if anybody submitted theirs over the word limit

Hi everyone! I just received my acceptance letter for the Summer 2021 cohort! I’m considering accepting the offer, but the program seems to be a bit out of my budget. Do they offer financial aid or scholarships? I see it’s roughly 43k, but in my acceptance letter it didn’t mention anything about tuition/aid

I don't have healthcare experience but was hoping to volunteer, which wasn't possible due to covid.

Psych: A-

I have healthcare experience as a medical scribe and I've volunteered at a hospital so I think that helped my application also.
