Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2021

Hi everyone, 

I know there's forums for Mount Sinai's ABSN program for the last couple of cohorts, but nothing for Summer 2021. Thought I'd start this one and see if anyone else has applied for the Summer 2021 start? 

@applicant 101 there will not be a lot of writing assignments for those classes, geo has weekly hw questions from readings but they’re straightforward and he goes over the answers in class and exam is opened book with exact questions and answers from the hw. The other classes mentioned just has care plans about 2/ each but no group assignments or essays.

@MLM2 OMG that's soooo helpful, thank you! Cause as you know there are so many group assignments and papers to write at level 2 for EBP and psych has many writings, group poster, adult I has concept map, handout, and all the nursing care plans, especially now towards the end of the semester, so much due

Hi guys, I am from C8, did you guys allow to bring guests for your white coat ceremony in March? If allowed, how many guests could you bring? Thankssss

Hi guys I'm from cohort 8, anyone of you could share what the last semester is like? Do you need to do a lot of writing, care plans, vsims and stuff like that? I only know we will have 2 clinicals. Much appreciated.

Hi everyone, I have applied to PSON ABSN for Summer 2023. I submitted my application back in mid September, but had some classes pending until mid December which I sent the grades for already. Do you know when I should expect an admission decision?

I am taking ethics and developmental psych on portage now. I will sign up for patho and pharmacology in February and if you have any notes that'll help me ill take that too LOL I don't have much time before classes start. Do you think I can finish both patho and pharmacology classes in two months?
