Hi everyone,
I know there's forums for Mount Sinai's ABSN program for the last couple of cohorts, but nothing for Summer 2021. Thought I'd start this one and see if anyone else has applied for the Summer 2021 start?

It's pretty much all loans. They have a scholarship application that is honestly a lot of work. You need to resubmit all your transcripts and get letters of recommendation. I think that there's only one person working the financial aid office and they have taken forever to answer any of my questions.

Ugh ?. Because im tryna figure out how much loans to take out and stuff since classes start next month.
Tuition should run about 43k for the first year... not including external fees like books, uniforms, etc. You can ask Mr. Gurdeep about it, if u visit them they're actually helpful
As for the scholarships, you can just ask gurdeeo for the transcripts, rec letters, etc because it's on file. Just requires a personal statement

The Pre-placement takes place after you get your forms signed by a HCP. It basically consists of doing a mask fit, color blind test, and an RN clearing your health forms. Took me about 30 minutes to do. It is at their hospital near union square.

Thank you ! Im currently waiting on my immunization records which I won't get back until next week. I wanted to go tomorrow to do the pre-placement but I guess it won't make sense to go now LOL

Yes they send an email with the acceptance letter, and a packet of medical forms that need to be filled out. IDK how they’re doing these things but I feel like it’s only one person handling everything in my opinion ??♀️
