Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2021

Hi everyone, 

I know there's forums for Mount Sinai's ABSN program for the last couple of cohorts, but nothing for Summer 2021. Thought I'd start this one and see if anyone else has applied for the Summer 2021 start?

I'm planning to begin my application soon!  But I see that they require my high school transcript?.. 

Its been more than 10 years since I've graduated..not sure if I have to still submit that information?

Hi! I applied for the Summer 2021 cohort in mid-September. I heard from their admissions office re: timeline- they said that they'd begin sending out decisions this week, but nothing yet. Good luck everyone!

Hey! Did you hear back on decisions?

I applied I guess a little late to the game but giving it my best shot! Wondering what their timeline is like ?

I applied beginning of September and heard back maybe a week or so ago? I got an email with the acceptance letter!

I graduated a while ago and got into nursing working at a hospital in clinical research. I did really well in my prereqs, got a 3.8 GPA.

Does mount sinai accept science classes through portage learning?

I think so. I submitted my application with prereqs from portage and it went through alright.

Can I ask which pre reqs they were? I am trying to take Microbiology through it.

Yeah portage credits are all accepted. I took microbio through portage and really liked it

Great to hear. How long did it take you to complete? Would you say it was very difficult?
