  1. Hi! I applied for the Summer 2021 cohort in mid-September. I heard from their admissions office re: timeline- they said that they'd begin sending out decisions this week, but nothing yet. Good luck everyone!
  2. Hi everyone! Just wanted to share some information regarding the tight turn around between acceptance/financial aid offers/deadline for accepting/declining the offer. The financial aid office seems to be delayed with financial aid packages, so we may not receive them in time to make a decision within 2 weeks of acceptance, but if you e-mail [email protected] and explain the situation, they will provide you with a form that will allow you to request an extension on accepting/declining the offer. Hope this info helps someone who isn't eager to pay the deposit without knowing their financial aid first! Also, for those of you curious about stats: Undergrad: NYU CAS, Chemistry major, math minor, 3.199 GPA Pre-reqs: Nutrition (Hunter College) A Stats (Hunter College) A+ Intro to Psych (Hunter College) A+ Anatomy & Physiology I (Hunter College) A- Anatomy & Physiology II (Hunter College) A Development Psychology (Online - BMCC) A Microbiology (BMCC) A I also have about 4 years of clinical research experience working at a cancer center in the city. Good luck to everyone and CONGRATS to those who heard back! ?
  3. Hi everyone! I heard back last Friday, 4/3, and just wanted to share some information regarding the tight turn around between acceptance/financial aid offers/deadline for accepting/declining the offer. The financial aid office seems to be delayed with financial aid packages, so we may not receive them in time to make a decision by 4/17, but if you e-mail [email protected] and explain the situation, they will provide you with a form that will allow you to request an extension on accepting/declining the offer. 4. Hi everyone! I called the financial aid office and they informed me that if we don't receive the package by the time we have to accept/decline the offer, we can reach out to Admissions to let them know that we haven't received the financial aid package, and they should be able to extend the deadline for us. Just thought I'd share in case some people don't want to commit without having the full picture!
  5. I think they send out decisions every 2 weeks, so maybe next Friday! Good luck!
  6. Hm, weird, didn't get anything. Can you send me the name of the group or the link?
  7. If you end up creating a FB group, can you send me the link? [email protected] Thanks!
  8. No FB page that I know of! But would be a good idea to get in touch with everyone somehow outside of this forum. I just e-mailed the financial aid office..they shouldn't be forcing our hands with accepting/declining the offer without providing the financial aid package. If they give me a different answer via e-mail, I'll let you know!
  9. Thank you! and also, I'm confused- we have to accept/decline our offers within 2 weeks of the date on the acceptance and the letter says we should be getting them within 7 days..so we have to make a decision without knowing our financial aid situation? Strange...
  10. yes! I applied back in late Oct/early Nov.
  11. hi everyone! I heard back from NYU last Friday (04/03) and was accepted. Very excited, but anxious to see my financial aid package. Has anyone else who has been accepted gotten any updates regarding aid?
