Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2021

Hi everyone, 

I know there's forums for Mount Sinai's ABSN program for the last couple of cohorts, but nothing for Summer 2021. Thought I'd start this one and see if anyone else has applied for the Summer 2021 start? 

Is it beneficial to be in contact with admissions during the waiting period?

Does anyone know if PSON offers any scholarships/ financial aid to accepted students?

Hi Everyone 

I recently submitted my application also. Good Luck to Everyone. I am a nervous wreak. I heard so many times about this school - good and bad. I am hoping the good overrides the bad:)

LOL Yes! my friend just graduated from the program. Mixed reviews!

Hey! I recently got accepted. What has your friend said about the program? 
 

I keep reading that people say there’s some cons but what are they ?

Just mainly that they are disorganized but to be honest, I have heard that about every ABSN program. Lots of self learning too which students didn't like.

I noticed when you put down the admission deposit it says 456/600 available seats. Does that mean 144 seats have been taken? I wonder if thats both for the ABSN and RN-BSN. 
 

Does anyone know how big our cohort is?

Sure! I was a psychology major and my undergrad GPA was a 3.4, and my science prereq GPA was a 3.67. I was an EMT-B for 3 years as well, so I think that helped!
