Thank you ! Im currently waiting on my immunization records which I won't get back until next week. I wanted to go tomorrow to do the pre-placement but I guess it won't make sense to go now LOL

I have a question. I hope someone can answer this for me. What exactly is the pre-placement assessment that has to be done at mount Sinai? Do you go there to do all the health requirements if we don’t go to a PCP? Im just kind of confused haha.

You are so right ! But I know many people took advantage of every component in that application like the addendum and optional essay but I didn’t because I didn’t really think much about it. And being an average student I should’ve used it. But at this point it is what it is. My video essay was definitely not great either

I still have prerequisites to do and didn’t do the optional essay or addendum ? I feel like that would affect my application I didn’t think it was too important ugh im overthinking everything now.

Did anyone do the addendum and optional essay? And also did anyone complete all their prerequisites?

Aside from my sneezing ; I also haven't finished all my perquisites. That email states "These fall courses will impact your application". So does that mean they are going to base our application on the amount of prerequisites completed ? Instead of giving us until January or like the Spring ?

I feel so stressed because for the video essay I sneezed like three times in a row and that cut my time even shorter which made me forget everything I wanted to say.

Check out their MDE program! They accept up to 200 students I believe you have a chance of getting in since they look at the application holistically & don't have a GPA requirement ☺️ In my opinion it may be easier to get into columbia more than nyu

Have you looked into Columbia University School of Nursing ? Its a masters direct entry program and instead of a bachelors degree you get a masters in nursing. They don’t require much and they don’t require any time of hours either. Just a recommendation! I will be applying as well.

I was wondering something. Does the admissions committee go through everyone’s LOR’s to confirm the references? Or do they only do that if the email provided isn’t from any type of institution?

Hi everyone im already having trouble with the application LOL ??‍♀️I just need some clarification real quick. So on the tab that says resume and professional data, on the bottom where it says “list any hobbies or activities that you have participated in”. So do I just put them in like bullet points or do we go into detail in that small space they gave us. Plus does anyone know if we apply for financial aid now ? Or when we get accepted. I just don’t wanna feel dumb and put a whole paragraph in there LOL
