Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2020

Hi all,

Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?

I was thinking the same thing.. Those who were accepted with and without an interview, do you mind sharing your stats?

I honestly don't know. I figured I wouldn't get in because I know some who just got accepted.

Did you apply for Summer or fall originally and when did you apply?

My undergrad I had a 2.9 GPA my graduate I had a 3.8 GPA and for my preq I had a 3.8. I am thinking its because my low GPA

I applied for both in feb.

I am changing careers. So maybe that is why I had to interview.

I was accepted without the interview. My cum GPA was 3.1 and pre-reqs were 3.9. I do have a couple years of healthcare paid & volunteer experience.

I toured the school about 2 yrs ago and thought it seemed warm and friendly, and a nice alternative to bigger, more expensive programs. I also thought Mario Gallo was lovely, but apparently she's left.

The Mt. Sinai name is not looking awesome to me either considering they are associated with nurses having to wear garbage bags for PPE -- but I assume this has been happening a lot of places.

They have not moved to the new location in Harlem yet, but they will be.
