  1. Still nothing yet for me
  2. For anyone taking courses through Portage, do you pay for them upfront? I wasn’t planning on taking them before the program but I’m kind of nervous about it because I’m sure it would help. I also considered renting or getting nursing books on both subjects and just studying/doing some practice questions at home
  3. I received my acceptance exactly a month + a day after I submitted my application. I don’t think any of us would really know how they come to that decision, it seems kind of random.. there have been people with good stats and experience that didn’t get in or had to interview, and some with slightly less that were accepted and didn’t have to interview. I really think they look into the whole background and may be more likely to want to interview people who come from different careers or have minimal experience. It really looks like it’s varied I think the same! I’m usually more of an independent studier LOL but I think with a program like this, it can really help in ways studying alone can’t
  4. Thank you!! CONGRATS to you also ?
  5. I was accepted without the interview. My cum GPA was 3.1 and pre-reqs were 3.9. I do have a couple years of healthcare paid & volunteer experience.
  6. Thank you so much for this! @lovelyflower21 Were any of your classes affected by COVID? And good luck for the rest of the program
  7. I was thinking Fall was at a disadvantage and not sure how they went about it, but I hoped that they tried to accept an even number of people from Summer and Fall to make it fair? I don’t think we will really know though. And you don’t need to worry about your prereqs not being done, they just need to be complete by July 1st
  8. Just received my acceptance by email yesterday! I applied last month for Fall and wasn’t asked to do an interview.
  9. Just saw that it was August after I posted. And that's awesome, CONGRATS!! Best of luck.
  10. They also have a few stats on their Academics tab, under Program Goals/Outcomes. They didn't put a percentage rate for NCLEX pass rates for first-time takers, just said "at or above" state/national means. https://www.mountsinai.org/locations/beth-israel/pson/academics/absn
  11. Hey! I just started looking into the school. Do you know when the deadline for Fall was?
  12. Hello, the last I checked, the Mt. Sinai program was about $60K total
  13. I imagine everything admissions related will be on hold or slowed down until people start being able to return to work, etc. I didn't hear back until a week after, but they want you to answer both questions within the one minute
  14. Congratulations!! ? Did you get an email?
  15. I just submitted recently so I haven't heard back yet, but between merging two cohorts and COVID, I suspect things might be up in the air longer than usual ? this is my first choice also
